| Verify accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions for exported computer goods. Calculates exchange rate variants Examines expense accounts, commissions paid to employees, interest and account payments, cash receipts, sales tickets, bank records, inventory and stock-record sheets, and similar items to verify accuracy of recorded data. Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment. Computes percentages and totals, using adding or calculating machines, and compares results with recorded entries. |
BS Economics or related, 2+ years of experience.

Review budget requests for conformance to corporate direction and recommend appropriate resource allocations. • Summarizes data or other non-quantifiable information, setting forth current and long-term economic or business trends pertinent to the business standings. • Statistically analyzes corporate financial statements to determine liquidity, earnings, earnings potential, and overall financial strength. • Analyzes the financial impact of current programs and projects. • Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry and economic conditions for use in market investment decisions. • Evaluate sales, costs, expenses, and tax rates in order to determine corporate worth and project future earnings. • Research, analyze and monitor complex financial, technological and demographic statistical graphs and factors so that our company may capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the competition. • Reviews and evaluates contracts for compliance with department policies and procedures related to the specific program. • Participates in the development and implementation of budgets; tracks and makes financial projections for budgets. • Makes financial recommendations based on tax incentives, financial standings, import/export regulations, availability of funds from banks or other investment sources, and other financial factors. • Prepares requests for legislative appropriation transfers and supplemental appropriations. • Reviews, interprets, and evaluates banking related documents, such as bank account analysis statements for compliance with agreements, industry practices, and contracts. • Conducts analyses in such areas as program goals, objectives, and operations. • Calculates rates paid for purchased services or goods. • Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work and for presentation with competitive bids for business. • Perform industry and market research in financial periodicals and other investment material to obtain accounting information, economic trends, and other financial data and then prepare the pertinent reports on investment/financial opportunities. |
Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field. Two years of professional experience providing a systematic review, analysis, interpretation, and/or evaluation of budgets, mortgages, loans, or other financial data for business in the United States, China and Venezuela.

• Setting up the infrastructure for the development, integration and test environments with host workstations within a customer facility/system. • Monitoring the database environment to ensure systems are performing efficiently. Responsible for performance tuning. • Reorganizing database, if necessary, to improve performance. Making recommendations regarding the purchase of additional hardware to improve performance. • Proactively monitoring database space utilization. Adjusting size of database as necessary. When appropriate, making recommendations to purchase additional storage. • Actively monitoring the database environment to increase efficiency, improve reliability, and minimize operating expenses. Write and maintain stored procedures and triggers. Provide on-going communication of status of projects and implementation. • Troubleshooting and providing technical solutions to database issues encountered by new and existing applications in the environment. • Keeping abreast of the latest in database technology. Makes appropriate recommendations regarding the purchase of new tuning, monitoring and documentation tools. • Assisting with stored procedure design and package development as required by development projects. • Participating in database design review. Establish and maintain operational metrics that align to customer experience. • Driving efficiencies through automation and operational excellence. • Building shell scripts for routing maintenance tasks. Creating scheduled jobs and review appropriate message logs. • Creating a positive, supportive, and team-focused working environment. • Assisting in the mentoring and coaching of team members. |
BS COMPUTER or equivalent, Microsoft Computer Systems Engineer.
